Did you sense the note of sarcasm in that title???

If you’ve landed on my blog looking for a wealth of information relating to internet marketing and how to make money online then you may be disappointed…well, at least in the short term! I’ve recently changed hosting companies due to problems with loading times and database errors. Although time consuming, I had thought that I had made the transition rather successfully. Unfortunately, I seem to have corrupted my database somewhere along the way and so, am starting from scratch.

In some ways, it’s a relief. A bit of a clean slate so to speak. I’m sure all of us, at some time, look back on work we have presented in the past and have cringed at some point. I also acknowledge that my insight of internet marketing has increased significantly since I first set out on my journey of independence several years back. However, I’m gutted that I have lost all the formatting and images from my site.

Nonetheless, as much as it pains me to do so, I am writing this first post without having formatted the layout of my site. No customised header, footer or sidebars. That’s really hard for me. However, if there is a lesson to be learned from this, it is that you will never achieve your goals unless you actually START. If you’re like me, and something of a perfectionist, you may never actually reach a point when you are totally satisfied. You’ll always want to tweak that article, image, copy, ebook just that teensy bit more. You’ll always have your excuses or barriers to success. Something that’s stopping you from achieving what you really want out of life.

I’m not happy with the site layout and, as I’m busy concentrating on promoting Christmas Amazon Sales, I am unlikely to find the time to carry out any significant improvements until the New Year.

But, I have started…what’s stopping you?
